Yilki Uniting’s annual Fleurieu Male Choir fundraising event once again delivered an entertaining Sunday afternoon in support of School Chaplaincy

Amy started as school chaplain (PCW) with Goolwa Secondary College (GSC) in Jan 2022 after being appointed to the role in the brand new school in late 2021.

On Thursday evening 10 April, some 159 people attended the Victa Cinema to support this ministry and enjoy the latest screening of “The Chosen.”

We truly hope and pray that this initiative will act as a broad platform to keep you informed, involved and inspired about all that school chaplaincy is, does and plans for the south coast of the Fleurieu.

Since the beginning of Goolwa Secondary College in 2022, PCW Amy Mackenzie has organised a whole school Christmas lunch on the last Thursday of Term 4.

Coordinating GSC’s involvement with Operation Flinders and supporting students on a powerful immersive learning adventure. Students had the opportunity to show resilience and strength as they experienced challenges. Students had moments to look deeper into themselves, discovering who they were now, and who they wanted to become.
